808Talk Episode #2 – BigDaddy MIA

Today’s podcast was hosted solo by me (V.Brown a.k.a. 808Rider) because my partner (J. “BigDaddy” Plummer) was MIA. Next show we will try and find out the details of why he was missing and I’m sure it will be good, so be sure and catch next weeks show. Hawaii’s seatbelt “Click It Or Ticket” campaign officially came to an end today, although you should still always wear your seatbelt because it could save your life. The campaign was a success and also contributed to the capture of known fugitives. The new contract to broadcast the UH Atheletics has been awarded once again to KFVE “The Home Team” who has held the contract for the past 22 years. The only other contender was Oceanic Time Warner Cable. We discuss the new pedestrian law which you can find out more about at TheHawaiiChannel.com and we also talk about upcoming events including Ray Romano Live in Hawaii and the Miss Steinlager Bikini Search which can be read about more at HawaiiEventsOnline.com.

From last weeks show we received a comment on how we really get rid of our trash here in Hawaii. The details can all be heard on our podcast including the information about the H-Power Plant and the other methods to get rid of trash here in the islands. We have growing ideas on how to move this podcast forward and appeciate any comments and feedbacks you may have. You can comment here on the site or send us an email using our email link at the bottom of this page. We thank you for stopping by and checking out 808Talk.
