808Talk Episode #7 - We Are Moving Up In iTunes
Aloha, another wonderful and happy day in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was an awesome 89 Degrees today and we are moving right along with show number seven. The new iTunes revolution is helping us to spread the Aloha of the Hawaiian Islands through the new podcasting feature. Since the launch of the iTunes 4.9 with podcasting, 808Talk has been getting more and more exposure and new subscribers everyday. PodCastAlley.com has also helped to increase the exposure of 808Talk and we have moved up in ranking from around 1500 just a week ago to a ranking of 424 as of today. This is all due to our listeners voting for us. Some local news is the heightened transit security level due to the recent terrorist attacks in London. Local officials are asking that everyone try to conserve water as much as possible due to the high use of water during the recent brush fires that have been taking place. Today’s featured artist is Aldrine Guerrero who was also featured on 808Talk a few weeks ago. The song titled “Butter Cup” features singing by Aldrine along with his great ukulele skills. Our podcast plug goes out to the Town Square Podcast which is fan-blog of the Town Square Show featured on Hawaii Public Radio. We would like to thank all our listeners for continuing to support 808Talk. Have a great week and be sure and check us out again next Sunday.
