808Talk Episode #10 – Aloha Award

First I want to meantion that 808Talk received the Aloha Award from HawaiiCity.com this past week which was awesome! Guy Cruz was once again our featured artist giving us his acoustic version of “Purple Rain” and in today’s featured news we discussed the rising problem with modified mopeds in Hawaii, the author Sujata Massey’s new mystery being written based in Hawaii, and a look at Hawaii influence around the world. We announced our new segment that should be coming online soon with a comedy feature by Thad Wright and we also touched on the Hawaii D2 Program for designated drivers. Brew Moon in Honolulu was a restaurant we talked about so you should definately check them out and if your interested in more info about Hawaii be sure and visit our sponsor The HawaiiForums. We listed a few of our most listened to live radio stations in Hawaii and we gave shoutouts to our hosting provider Vebro Hosts, a local website for import news called eight08.net and a fellow Hawaii podcaster at BakaChat. We would like to thank all who have sent us email and told us where they listen and you can see that on our new page link – 808Talk Listener’s. So have a great week and thanks for all your continued support through word of mouth and through voting for us at PodCastAlley.com, it is greatly appreciated! Till next week, stay cool and spread the Aloha!
