808Talk Episode #15 - UH Football Season Starts
Another great season of UH Football started this weekend with their opener game against number one ranked USC. Although they lost that game, they appear to be ready and strong to make a come back this year. Music we featured today was a song called “Gripin Da Grain” from a local group called BlaqWater which is along the Hip-Hop/R&B genre of music. The 2nd Anniversary Oahu MySpace party was a blast, but lessons learned from my experience is make sure you do not park your car in a Tow-Away Zone, because it sucks when you have to try and find your car at 4am. It is once again another new month so be sure and cast your vote for us a PodCastAlley so we can move up in our rankings and get more exposure. Some shoutouts go to the people down at the Ala Moana Apple Store right here in Honolulu, Hawaii and to our fan club over at University Of Hawaii at Manoa. In the aftermath of the Hurricane Katrina, we are providing a link at the top of our site so that our visitor’s and listener’s can find out what they can do to help through the American Red Cross. We once again want to thank all our listener’s for your continued support in this podcast and we hope you will continue to listen and spread the word about us. Well have a great week and tune in again next week for some more 808Talk fun!

Listened to your show on the plane today coming back from Phila to Dallas. Was thinking about the Friday Happy hours at Gorden Biersh..you guys suck.
THis last show was your best by far and the music selection was good THe Apple store prop story was perfect. I feel like Im up to date on Honolulu. Now I dont miss it so bad. Sounds like some tow trucks need some flat tires.
THe remote cast from UH party sounds great. Work it man.
