The first show of November introduces a new guest host named Reiko and we discuss the beautiful scenic point of Kaena Point on the Island of Oahu. Music featured today included an older song from Breakwater and a new song from Kimo Watanabe. In the news we update the story on the mental patient who escaped a week ago from the Hawaii State Hospital and we discuss the award presented to Samuel L. Jackson at the Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF). Also in the news was the record breaking amount of tourist that have visited Hawaii this year and results of the ban on alcohol at Aloha Stadium was updated. Addition of a new partner at Honolulu-City.com was meantioned and we share an email from a listener in Tokyo, Japan. The 808Talk contest is still ongoing with the details of the contest explained again that involves interaction with the Madonna podcast. You sounded kinda depressed on the last show you did by yourself but this show was 100% better. I liked the segment on Kaena pt. I’ve been to Kaeina pt a few times myself and was wondering if you been hiking up the hill there by the point? Its an old outpost or something up there. Also just a suggestions about future shows material. Why not do a little segmant on Local Hawaiian foods? There are a lot of things in the local 7-11 that aren’t in normal mainland 7-11’s such as spam musubis, manapuas, or other pu’pu such as po’ke. Just a thought…
