808Talk Episode #28 – Comedy And Waikiki
Jim is back and we welcome a co-host to the co-host named Thad. Thad is a local comedian who does acts with the Sharkeys Comedy Club. Music featured today was from Sean Jay and Sharon Sanchez. In the news was talk of the “LOST” cast members who were recently pulled over in Kailua and charged with a DUI. Also we discussed another tragic murder involving a Samurai Sword and the debate over aerial ads in Hawaii. The featured hot spot to visit in Hawaii was none other than the world famous beach and area of Waikiki. This past week I had a chance to hang out with my other fellow Hawaii podcasters who all belong to the HAP (Hawaii Association of Podcasters). Attendees included Peter Kay, Ryan and Jen, Eric Timmer, Larry Geller, Bob Lew, Curt Brandao, Dr. Trey and Jroq, Roxanne and Shane, Burt Lum, Gail Jennings, Evan Leong, Todd Cochrane and many others. It was held at a great Japanese restaurant that I definately recommend which is called Shokudo. For those interested in other Hawaii Podcasters be sure and visit the HAP website. Mahalo for downloading 808Talk and we all here wish you a wonderful Holiday Season!
