=> Chris - ...we were also there in '04 - beautiful place; going back this year and getting another dose of paradise.

I got rid of my button down shirts and ties and wear Hawaiian shirts almost exclusively, my iPod has like 600 Hawaiian category songs, and I go to the local plate lunch place almost weekly (even though it's not on my diet). Oh, and I learned to make haupia!

Regarding moving to the islands; in a dream-state it sounds heavenly. However I could not afford a home with an ocean view, and my family is on the mainland, and I'm too young to retire. So what I'm trying to do is make home nicer, and use and discover things to do here like we did in Hawaii - I think it's a lot about attitude (positive).

We're lucky to have 808talk and V.Brown - the podcast and website gives the viewer insight into this really beautiful place.

I stumbled upon 808talk podcasts in January and I can't get enough. I have been going back and downloading the past episodes. My first visit to Hawaii was in 2004 when I visited Oahu and Maui. My visit reminded me of heaven and all the things that are good in the world. Since my visit, I have consumed by all things Hawaii. I have been reading books, joined online groups, and now am downloading this podcast. Hawaii and the Aloha Spirit continue to grow in my heart every day.

I especially enjoy hearing about the culture and news events. I hope to someday move to Hawaii.

I do enjoy the audio and would not do away with audio.

Mahalo,
