808TTV E.73 - Hawaii Superferry - Alakai
The very first Hawaii Superferry arrived in the islands last Saturday June 30, 2007 and 808Talk TV was there to catch the first glimpse of this amazing vessel. Able to carry 866 passengers and around 282 cars maximum, this is surely going to be one of the greatest new ways to get around in the islands. Starting in September of 2007 local island residents can travel between Oahu, Maui and Kauai and in the near future the Big Island of Hawaii will be added as well. This truly is the H-4 of Hawaii. Be sure and subscribe to 808TTV in iTunes or your favorite podcatcher to get the latest episode of 808Talk TV.
