Sandy Beach LOVE

Time to once again forget all the worries of the world and escape to a place like no other, SANDY BEACH! Check out this awesome Sandy Beach highlight reel by dkamisat.

Sandy Beach (21°17′5″N, 157°40′20″W) is on the South Shore of O’ahu in Hawai’i. It is known for its shorebreak and for its bodyboarding and bodysurfing. The area is also known for its strong current and dangerous shorebreak. Unexperienced bodyborders, bodysurfers, and swimmers should stay out of the water. The beach park is located between Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve Park on the west and Makapuʻu Point on east along 8800 Kalanianaole Highway in Hawai’i Kai, on Honolulu’s southside neighborhood.

Enjoy the view and wonderful beach but remember to not let the beauty distract you from the danger. Read more about Sandy Beach Hazards and why lifeguards remind us all to “never turn your back on the ocean.”
