Looks like good things really do come to those that wait. Check out these last minute deals that the airlines are putting together for holiday travel.

Many have put off their holiday visits with family and holiday getaways because of the slumping economy and the high ticket prices due to the increased fuel surcharges. But with the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons around the corner, the airlines are stepping up and helping everyone connect. Even our local residents here in the islands are getting a break.

United Airlines:
Roundtrip ticket from Honolulu to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for $468
Honolulu to New York City for $475 for travel in mid- to late November
Honolulu to Seattle $400

Hawaiian Airlines:
Honolulu to Phoenix for as low as $300 in November

Northwest Airlines:
Honolulu to Seattle $400
