FREE CONCERT: Raiatea Helm At Second Saturdays
The upcoming December “Second Saturdays” event, held at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, will feature Raiatea Helm.
“Raiatea Mokihana Maile Helm made history in 2006 as Hawai’i's first solo female vocalist ever to receive a Grammy Nomination for her sophomore CD “Sweet and Lovely.”
At 21 years old, she was one of the youngest performers to attend the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California. It was a remarkable achievement when you consider that she comes from the tiny island of Moloka’i, Hawai’i, a mere wisp of volcanic land in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.“
Come down and enjoy Raiatea Helm in this third concert of the popular Kani Ka Pila series on Saturday December 13th @7pm. The Second Saturdays – Kani Ka Pila at Royal Hawaiian Center is a FREE Concert with plenty of parking that is also FREE with validation for 4hrs when you dine at any of the restaurants or at the food court in the center.
