Fairmont Kea Lani – Maui

Fairmont Kea Lani - Maui

Rest and relaxation is something everyone needs from time to time to forget the worries of everyday life. This past weekend was just that time for me as I had the wonderful opportunity to take some time off and enjoy a trip to the beautiful island of Maui. While those who know me well can confirm that my favorite island is Kauai, with the Big Island (Hawaii) coming in second, it is a little known fact that Maui is also one of my favorites falling in at number three. I decided to take this chance during the extended holiday to visit Maui as a getaway and to enjoy a more quiet and peaceful Fourth of July away from the sometimes more fast paced life of Oahu, which is my home island. Only having the opportunity to experience a few short days on Maui I opted to veer away from the Lahaina and Kaanapali area, which is where I have frequented so many times in the past, and spend the weekend in the Wailea area, which is home to many resorts such as the Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, and my new favorite, The Fairmont Kea Lani.

Polo Beach

The Fairmont Kea Lani is a spectacular all-suite hotel and villa resort, which was the ideal location to spend a quiet time relaxing, sipping Mai Tai’s or an Uncle Sam poolside, and taking in the beauty and splendor that makes Hawaii one of the most unique and beautiful places on earth. Kea Lani, which means “heavenly white”, is truly a great description for this wonderful paradise resort. From the beautiful Hawaiian and Middle Eastern architectural design, to the amazing view of Molokini, Kahoolawe, and Lanai from the fronting Polo Beach, Kea Lani has the tranquility and inviting atmosphere that anyone would appreciate, and the sense of pride and Aloha from all the staff I encountered was a testament to the quality, service and experience that can only come from Hawaii.
