Since it was written, “Hawaii 78″ has been sung by some of the greatest Hawaiian artist such as Makaha Sons and Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole (Bruddah IZ) as well as international artist such as Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, who sang it at their concert in 2006 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
